§ 92.05. Fire safety inspector.

The position of fire safety inspector is hereby established within the city. The fire safety inspector shall be charged with conducting all fire safety inspections and all other duties that are required by law. In order to become a fire safety inspector with the city, an individual must meet all the requirements provided for by the laws of the state. A fire safety inspector shall be appointed by the city manager upon the final adoption of this section. Nothing contained herein shall prohibit an active member of the city fire department from being appointed fire safety inspector.
