§ 91.070. Unlawful interference with animal control officer.

It shall be unlawful to interfere with or threaten bodily injury to any animal control officer in the legal performance of his duties, or to take or attempt to take any animal from any animal control officer or from any vehicle used by him to transport any animal; or to take or to attempt to take any animal from the animal shelter without proper authority. In addition to any other penalties which may be provided by law, violation of this section is a Group III infraction as described in § 91.160.
