§ 91.040. City license tag and vaccination certificate required.

  • (A)

    A city license tag. Every owner of a dog or cat four months or older shall obtain a city license tag for such dog or cat. The license tag may be obtained at City Hall by providing the vaccination record of the animal and paying the appropriate fee as set forth in § 99.110. The license tag is effective for one year and runs with the fiscal year, October 1 through September 30.

    (B)

    Vaccination certificate. Every owner of a dog or cat four months old or older shall have such animal vaccinated against rabies by a licensed veterinarian or a licensed veterinary assistant acting as authorized agent of the veterinarian, and obtain evidence of such vaccination in the form of a certificate signed by the person administering the vaccine and containing pertinent data for the identification of the animal.
