§ 91.005. Incorporation of Lake County Animal Code; repeal of conflicting ordinances.

Lake County is requested and authorized to provide animal control services and enforce the provisions of the Lake County Code dealing with animal control services within the municipal limits of Fruitland Park. Lake County Ordinance No. 1999-65, as codified in Chapter 4 of the Lake County Code, is approved for use within the city limits of Fruitland Park, and all portions of ordinances inconsistent with Lake County Ordinance No. 1999-65, as codified in Chapter 4 of the Lake County Code, are repealed. Without limiting the above, the Lake County Animal Services is authorized to respond to requests from citizens of Fruitland Park in animal control situations regarding neglected, abused, at-large, or nuisance animals.
