§ 80.20. Notice of existence of alarm system.

  • Every person who owns, leases, possesses or operates any alarm system within the city, existing on the effective date of this chapter [September 12, 1991] or installed thereafter shall, within 90 days of the effective date of the ordinance or prior to alarm installation as appropriate, notify the city, on forms provided by the city, of the existence of the alarm system. Notice shall include the following information:

    (A)

    The name, address, business and home telephone numbers of the owner, lessee, operator, manager or person in possession of the premises wherein the alarm system is located or to be installed.

    (B)

    The name, address and telephone number of at least two persons who are to be notified by the chief of police or his designee in the event of the activation of the alarm system, who shall be authorized to enter the premises and deactivate the alarm system.

    (C)

    The date on which the alarm system was or is to be installed.

    (D)

    The name of the alarm system installer.
